We will provide status on a NOAA-funded project to fabricate a flight quality solar sail that is being
managed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Marshall Space Flight Center.
The sail is being built by NeXolve, and its design is based on the sail of the recently-cancelled Solar
Cruiser mission. We will also report on the progress in planning for a space demonstration flight,
including interest in partner agencies. We will also examine support for solar sail technology and
improved geomagnetic storm warning times as expressed in the Heliophysics Decadal Survey.
