Oral
The Alfven surface is typically within 10-20 solar radii from the Sun. Occasionally, CMEs can displace a small part of the Alfven surface to 1 AU and beyond. In this talk, we will discuss one such example, and consider the impact on Sun-Earth connection, including its multi-wavelength visual display. Based on what has been learned at Earth, we will envision star-planet interaction for exoplanets inside the Alfven zone of their host stars.
