Meeting Objective
The Working Group for Tropical Cyclone Operations and Research, part of the Interagency Council for Advancing Meteorological Services, hosts an annual conference to bring together the Federal hurricane community: operational forecast centers; numerical modelers; aerial, ocean, satellite, and radar observing groups; and supporting research functions. These experts review last year’s challenges, plan operations for the upcoming season, and discuss research efforts in the context of operational needs.
