Philip Hartmeyer is a Marine Archaeologists who works at NOAA's Office of Ocean Exploration.
He will be discussing his exciting research titled “The Marine Archaeology Portfolio of NOAA Ocean Exploration.” He will introduce the different platforms, partnerships, and grant opportunities utilized to achieve this mission through an underwater cultural heritage lens. As ocean exploration continues, more human stories are brought to the surface through paleolandscape studies, archaeological discoveries, and other remnants of our connection with the ocean.
