UCAR | CPAESS is delighted to announce that we will soon be accepting applications for the NASA Jack Eddy Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2023. This fellowship is designed to train the next generation of researchers in the emerging field of heliophysics.

Heliophysics embraces all aspects of the Sun-Solar System, and includes many of the basic physical processes found in the laboratory, the solar system, and ionized gases (plasmas) with gravitational and electro-magnetic fields, and with neutral matter. The physical domain of heliophysics ranges from deep inside the Sun to the Earth's upper atmosphere.

The NASA Jack Eddy Fellows are UCAR employees and receive a fixed annual salary, plus UCAR's benefits and allowance for relocation and travel.

Applications will open in October.

The deadline for applications will be January 20, 2023

Notification of awards will be April 7, 2023
