Modeling updates at the US Air Force’s 16th Weather Squadron

The 16th Weather Squadron is charged with providing environmental modeling data and information 24/7 to support United States and allied military decision making worldwide. This presentation will detail the modeling systems currently in operations and those under development and evaluation. It will also review the methods and products used to produce tailored decision insights for supported missions and to perform rapid prototyping for evolving decision needs. Collaborative partnerships will be discussed, as will information about key enabling efforts such as computing systems and software management.
