The Arabian Peninsula is deprived from a network of in-situ observations of greenhouse gases (GHGs). To overcome this gap and gain insight on the concentrations of GHGs and their seasonal variability, we use the latest available satellite observations for CO2 and methane covering the last decade. Results from this analysis will be presented and comparison with the global averages as well as with the data used to force the CMIP6 models will be discussed.
