2026 Space Weather Workshop Poster Abstract Submission and Student Support Application

Abstract deadline for Students applying for support:  Friday, March 6, 2026, 10 PM (MT)

General abstract deadline:  Sunday, March 22, 2026, 10 PM (MT)

Notification of acceptance of student support:  Friday, March 13, 2026

Notification of general abstract acceptance and lightning talk selections: Wednesday, April 8, 2026

We would like to acknowledge the National Science Foundation for providing support for students to attend the 2026 Space Weather Workshop.


When you submit this form, the Academic Advisor you designate will receive an email requesting that they complete and submit an endorsement statement form on your behalf. It is recommended that you inform your Advisor ahead of time about your Abstract submission and Student Support request to ensure they are aware and complete the form promptly. You will also receive an email confirmation once their endorsement has been submitted.

If so, Space Weather Workshop available funds can be used to support additional students. Your answer will not be used to influence our choices of who to support. This is an optional question in the Student Support section.

Support includes: Workshop registration fees, admission to the Welcome Networking event, a seat at the banquet, lodging at the Embassy Suites from April 26th and May 1st, and a $300 allowance that can be used towards meals (none provided during workshop other than the banquet).


Students will be notified by email, on Friday, March 13, 20026 regarding the status of the application for support.
