Description of scientific projects
My interests are in analysis of climate extremes and their impacts on terrestrial hydrological cycle, nonstationary climate processes, developing models for monitoring and predicting droughts and floods, and combining remote sensing techniques and physically-based and statistical approaches in order to develop more reliable models of large-scale hydrologic systems.
