Description of scientific projects
My research focuses on improving climate models by studying the physics and dynamics of different clouds from low marine clouds to high cirrus clouds, and their responses to aerosols from micro-scale to global scale. I use a variety of numerical models, statistical techniques, exploratory data analysis, and data visualizations to enhance our understanding and prediction of complex climate phenomena. I collaborate with academic and research groups in cross-team projects, supported by funding agencies such as NSF and NOAA, and publish my results in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I am passionate about advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to the global efforts to address the climate change challenges.
