My interests center around climate processes related to water vapor, clouds, and their impact on mechanisms that govern climate variability and climate change. I use a number of approaches including analysis of climate model simulations, assimilated data sets (or reanalyses) and various satellite-derived remote sensing data sets to study how radiative and turbulent fluxes behave on intraseasonal, interannual and decadal time scales.
