Description of scientific projects
My main research interests lie in utilizing organic geochemical and isotopic proxies to examine paleoclimate, paleoceanography and paleolimnology. I am particularly interested in tropical paleoclimate, the response of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems to climate change and anthropogenic activities, spatial and temporal patterns of climate variability, and in the development of new organic geochemical proxies.
