Description of scientific projects
My research centers on understanding how features at the Earth's surface influence atmospheric circulation and precipitation fields, and I focus mainly on the tropics. I use climate models, including regional and global models, and analysis of observations to investigate the physical processes of this interaction between the earth's surface and the atmosphere.
