Dr Kevin E Trenberth

Kevin Trenberth is a Distinguished Senior Scientist in the Climate Analysis Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. His research is involved in evaluation and exploitation of datasets, and comprehensive diagnostics of the atmosphere and climate, and has recently been focused on the heat and energy budget, atmospheric and ocean heat transports and exchanges, and the role of El Nino and hurricanes in the climate system. He was a coordinating lead author of the 2007 IPCC Scientific Assessment of Climate Change.
