physical oceanography of the polar oceans: circulation, water masses, freshwater, ocean warming, sea level change, physical controls on biological productivity (primary, secondary, top predators)
Description of scientific projects
My work is generally focused on the analysis of observational data bases, numerical model output, and some satellite data, with the goal of understanding how the Arctic Ocean is changing over time. I also have a few observational programs that generally involve the collection of hydrographic data.
