My laboratory performs research on soil microorganisms, soil greenhouse gas exchange and the transport of microorganisms into novel environments.
Description of scientific projects
My laboratory investigates the exchange of greenhouse gases between the soil microbial community and the atmosphere. We also use next-gen sequencing analysis to match microbial community structure to these trace gas fluxes. Further, we are interested in wind and airborne particles as vectors for dispersal of bacteria.
