Description of scientific projects
Our lab studies the generation and maintenance of microbial diversity and its consequences for ecosystem functioning. Our current work experimentally tests the evolutionary and ecological mechanisms behind the responses of microorganisms to shifting environments and whether these changes alter ecosystem functioning.
