Description of scientific projects
My research interests focus on the integration of measurements with models to investigate the impact of sources and their chemical evolution on tropospheric composition. This work includes the evaluation, and improvement, of models with observations, and the interpretation of observations with model results. I contribute to the development of chemistry in the Community Earth System Model (CESM). I have been an active participant in tropospheric chemistry field campaigns, including NCAR-led TOPSE, MIRAGE, DC3, NOMADSS and FRAPPE, along with numerous NASA experiments (eg., ARCTAS, SEAC4RS, KORUS-AQ), providing chemical forecasts to guide flight planning, as well as post-experiment analysis of the observations with models.
