Description of scientific projects
An observationalist, I focus primarily on internal tides and near-inertial waves; the global patterns of their generation, propagation and dissipation is of key import for determining the magnitude of the global meridional overturning circulation; which is in turn key for understanding the Earth's response to climate change.
