Description of scientific projects
My research interests are focused in population genomics, phylogeography, and transcriptomics, with an application towards conservation biology. Current projects are broadly focused on the impacts of climate change on the biodiversity of marine ecosystems in the Arctic, Bering Sea, and the US West Coast. Opportunities within this research involve the use of whole-genome resequencing, RADseq, RNA-Seq, eDNA surveillance, and bioinformatics.
