Prof Ming Fang Ting

Mingfang Ting's research has been focused on understanding stationary wave dynamics and stationary wave response to global change, the impact of tropical and midlatitude sea surface temperature anomalies, the physical and dynamical processes involved in the summer droughts and floods, and the spatio-temporal structures of precipitation. She has also been working on US regional climate changes, particularly the precipitation aspects, due to global warming and sea surface temperature anomalies. Current as of 2001
