Description of scientific projects
My primary research interest is using satellite remote sensing observations of the ocean surface as a means of improving our understanding of boundary layer dynamics and their effects on the air-sea exchange of heat and momentum. The two primary data sources are microwave scatterometer wind vectors and synthetic aperture radar.
