Description of scientific projects
The desired scientific projects will focus on developing innovative and transformative tools, algorithms, models, and data for enhancing the flexible and adaptive decision making for water infrastructure. Leveraged by an NSF founded EPSCoR Track-1 project, we will investigate the impacts of subseasonal-to-seasonal climate variability on water infrastructure management from both engineering and social-economic perspective. The research lab is located at NOAA's National Weather Center with great collaboration opportunities with multidisciplinary team and agencies.
