Description of scientific projects
My research is focused on South Asian monsoon and South American monsoon on intraseasonal, interannual and multi-decadal time scales. Other topics include monsoon variability in changing climate, monsoon's relation with other global climate phenomena such as ENSO, PDO and AMO, and predictability based on chaos and nonlinear dynamical systems.
