NASA Eddy Symposiums are an ongoing series of events which bring together great minds across the interdisciplinary field of heliophysics. It continues the legacy of the frontier-thinking, cross-disciplinary gathering that the Eddy Symposia have come to define. Each symposium has a unique theme, and within part of its framework, scientific discussions, and creative-thinking sessions, with three specialized perspectives are explored.

Each year there is a theme through which several specific areas are examined. This takes place in the form of working groups who put their minds together to brainstorm how the research can best move forward through their unique lens. Reports and publications are then created to share this perspective with the larger heliophysics community. This past year the following reports were generated from the 2023 NASA Symposium, and are included here:

This coming fall the 5th Eddy Symposium will be held in Nainital, India at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES) from November 17-22nd. This year’s theme: Star-Planet Interactions in the Solar System and Beyond. Learn more about it and apply to attend by June 28, 2024. This event is sponsored by NASA’s Living With a Star Program with assistance from the National Science Foundation and NCAR's High Altitude Observatory.
