We present the design and preliminary test results of a
full-disk spectroheliograph instrument under
development as a potential upgrade to the GONG
system. This instrument aims to enhance the current
GONG Hα system by enabling full-disk Dopplergram
observations, thereby facilitating the study of filament
dynamics in relation to eruptive events.
