2026 Space Weather Workshop Student Support
We would like to acknowledge the National Science Foundation Directorate for Geosciences for providing support for students to attend Space Weather Workshop 2026.
What the Student Support Includes
Workshop registration fees, admission to the Welcome Networking event, a seat at the banquet, lodging at the Embassy Suites between 4/26 and 5/1 and a $300 allowance that can be used towards meals (none provided during the workshop other than the banquet) or transportation to/from airport. Airfare is NOT included.
Requirements
Students must submit the Poster Abstract Submission form and answer the questions in the section marked Student Support.
The student's Academic Advisor must submit the Endorsement Letter form. When the student submits the Abstract Submission form, the Advisor will receive an email with instructions, including a link to the Endorsement Statement form. (You will receive an email to notify you when the Endoresement form has been submitted for you.)
Further Information
- Deadline to submit your abstract for review is 10 PM (MT) Friday, March 6, 2026.
- Notification of acceptance of support will be granted on Friday, March 13, 2026. You will be notified via the email address you provided in your application.
- You will be provided further details on the recommended size of posters, where you can print a poster locally, a link to submit an optional electronic version of your poster to our online gallery and detailed information regarding the $300 travel allowance.
- If you are accepted to receive support, your lodging will be arranged for you. Any reservations made by the student will not be reimbursed.
