AMS Winners
A sincere congratulations to our wonderful former staff members whose awards at the upcoming American Meteorological Society (AMS) annual conference were just announced.
- Kim Klockow McClain, CPAESS Senior Research Scientist, will become an AMS Fellow.
- Adam Sobel, former NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow (Class 7) and current Professor at Columbia University, will receive the Joanne Simpson Tropical Meteorology Research Award.
- Malte F. Stuecker, former NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow (Class 26) and current Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa will receive the Clarence Leroy Meisinger Award.
- Tim Cronin, former NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow (Class 24) and current Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT will receive the Clarence Leroy Meisinger Award
- Elizabeth Barnes, former NOAA Climate & Global Change Postdoctoral Fellow (Class 22) and Research Professor at Boston University, will become an AMS Fellow.
