2025 CPAESS Leadership Academy Graduates

UCAR's Leadership Academy is an intensive program for a cohort of 30 staff members from across the UCAR organization who are in, may soon find themselves in, or have an interest in mid-level leadership and management positions and above. The Leadership Academy is designed to strengthen leadership skills; and the program includes workshops, seminars, small-group projects, and personal coaching and mentoring provided by both UCAR staff and outside consultants.

Of the experience, Kaity shared "Leadership Academy provided the opportunity we rarely get in today's fast-paced world to self-reflect on my supervisory and leadership skills. It allowed me to in real-time refine how I was managing different dynamics and circumstances." Heather added “This experience has provided me with the resources and environment to reflect on my self-leadership approaches while also empowering me to practice and develop my leadership strategies with others. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from and engage with others throughout this journey!” David told us that the “Leadership Academy was a great opportunity for me to hone my leadership skills and meet and work with colleagues across the organization. I believe that I will walk out of the program a better supervisor, and team member as a result of participating in this program.” Shiv’s thoughts were “The Leadership Academy gave me space to reflect on myself and connect with amazing peers who truly inspired me. I’m grateful for the friendships and lessons I’ll carry forward.”
